Project Assistant Vacancy

As a Project Assistant your experience and impact on OHP and the surrounding community (and vice-versa) is considerably more prolonged and rewarding than being a two-week volunteer.

Do you want to gain volunteer experience?
Do you want to gain experience useful for applying to schools or jobs related to wildlife, research, conservation?
Have you longed to see orangutans in the wild, as opposed to just within a captive setting?
Have you wanted to volunteer in the area of research, but weren’t quite sure how?

If you replied yes to any of the above questions, then the Project Assistant voluntary position is for you.

OHP is in constant need of Project Assistants to work a six month (negotiable) voluntary contract with OHP staff in Sumatra, Indonesia. Please see the job description below for more information and e-mail OHP at if you are interested in obtaining further information and/or an application form.
